By rail:
IC/ICE network link to Ulm. From Ulm there are hourly express links to Friedrichshafen. Leave the train at Meckenbeuren station.
From Zurich, travel to Romanshorn. From there, take the Romanshorn/Friedrichshafen/Hafenbahnhof ferry, then continue by rail in the direction of Ulm, leaving the train at Meckenbeuren station.
By road:
From Stuttgart, take the A 81 to the Singen/Hegau junction, then follow the A 98 in the direction of Stockach to the end of the motorway. Continue on the B 31 towards Lindau. In Friedrichshafen, take the B 30 in the direction of Ravensburg to Meckenbeuren. Turn right into the Ehrlosen industrial estate. From Ulm, take the B 30 towards Friedrichshafen. From Munich, take the A 96 in the direction of Lindau/Bodensee to exit 3, then continue towards Friedrichshafen on the B 31. At Kressbronn, continue on the B 467 past Tettnang to Meckenbeuren.
From Zurich, take the N 1 towards Winterthur and then the N 7 to Konstanz. From there, take the ferry to Meersburg, then continue on the B 31 to Friedrichshafen. In Friedrichshafen, follow the B 30 in the direction of Ravensburg to Meckenbeuren.
