Dec 2009 - Winterhalter UC Series: Highly Commended at Prestigious Awards
Winterhalter’s new UC Series of undercounter warewashers came highly commended at FCSI’s annual conference 2009 at the QEII centre in London, being applauded for its sustainability and energy-efficiency.
The FCSI’s (Foodservice Consultants Society International) ‘Sustainable Catering Equipment Award’ is given for a product that is sustainable in its practical application and use, as well as recognizing innovation, forward-thinking and excellence in providing solutions to everyday catering issues and concerns.
Winterhalter’s new UC under-counter warewash series, launched this year, optimizes this by saving water, energy, CO2 -emissions and detergents.
Winterhalter has developed new technologies to meet the demands of its customers. The UC Series sets the standards in ease of operation, quality washing results, ease of maintenance, and low running costs. According to FCSI judges, Winterhalter were nominated for a commendation as a ‘result of their time and effort spent on the development of the new UC Series dishwashers’, looking at ‘the full operation of the machine from start to finish’.
